The Story:
As an artist, teacher, and interior designer, I’ve always believed in the comforting message of Pennies from Heaven. Whenever I found a penny in my path, I’d pick it up, feeling an instant connection to a loved one I had lost—it was like a quiet reminder that they were still near.
One day, I noticed a penny lying beside a feather. As I reached down to pick them up together, I felt a slight, gentle breeze pass over me. In that subtle moment, I felt surrounded by peace—as if my spirit angels were close, quietly reassuring me that everything was as it should be.
That experience deeply moved me and inspired the poem “Wings Around Me,” which I later wrote and copyrighted. Today, I include that poem in my handcrafted Remembrance Gift Collection—a heartfelt way to preserve the found pennies and feathers that bring comfort and connection. Each piece in the collection serves as a gentle reminder that our loved ones are never far; their love continues to surround us in the quietest, most meaningful ways.
